Kent, Washington, USA: Lake Meridian, home and blackberries that taste like childhood

Back to blog list

It’s just so very green and sweet in Kent.

Take a look, you’ll see what I mean.

This is the town where my mother was raised. My grandma Alma Ann has lived here for over forty years and I love it so. Even just for a few days, it’s the perfect place to enjoy everything about summer. Even when it rains. I don’t know if any person in the world will see these photos the way I do. They are a part of me, they represent so much of my childhood.

Portra 400, Bronica SQ-A and Leica M6. Always.
